Bits and pieces
Mmm. Well, I got a much-needed haircut, then we celebrated a belated V-Day by going to Babette's Cafe. It used to be consistently good, but since they've moved to the new location, well, I wasn't really happy with dinner. Everything my husband ordered was quite good, but everything I ordered was bland and underwhelming. Kind of a disappointment, and the new place is terribly noisy. Very disappointing.
Went to see my spouse's father on Sunday for his birthday, and went to Copeland's - bleah. That's the second time I've been, and both times, it's been mediocre. Their beignets don't even come close to Cafe du Monde's.
