Nifty download
So it seems that Giveaway of the Day gives away a free, commercial-grade software product every day. Today's offering is Web Stream Recorder Pro (will last for 15 more hours at the time of this writing), and with a little tweaking, it seems to be working. It's a touch kludgy, but it fills a want that I've had for some time, which is being able to schedule recordings of online programming. I love The Thistle and Shamrock, but it's never on when I'm in the car. I'm hoping this will fix it so that I can record it and listen to it when it's convenient for me ... sort've like a DVR for the radio.
