Tom Monaghan: I somehow doubt his town will have a Pizza Hut franchise

I haven't purchased a Domino's pizza in over 17 years, and I'm feeling pretty happy about that right now. I just wish it had done more good.

We haven't bought Domino's in a long time because it's crappy pizza, and I definitely won't be eating it again now.

I stopped eating it back in the day when I found out about their discrimination against hiring women for management positions and the contributions to Operation Rescue. However, given that it is indeed lousy pizza, it wasn't exactly a hardship to give it up. :)

Hypothetical question here, since we had many discussions on this in the past.

Now that eight years have passed since Monaghan has sold the chain, would you consider purchasing one - since it no longer benefits him or funds his beliefs?

From an ethical standpoint, that would depend on whether the practices that occurred on his watch are still entrenched in the corporation's structure. However, from a strictly hedonistic perspective, probably not, 'cause there's better pizza to be had than that. :)

I tried to respond to this, but couldn't form a coherent responce. This sort of thing (particularly the no birth control side of it) drives me completely freaking nuts.

PS Love the Jubal Early icon. :)
