I love Roger Ebert's critiques of movies he considers to be bad. I don't always agree with him, but by far his most enjoyable reviews are when he gets wound up and on a roll over a cinematic dog. Now, unfortunately, M. Night Shyamalan's The Village is the target of
his review. I say unfortunately, because I really enjoyed Unbreakable, and was sort of looking forward to seeing this newest one, but at least the review is still entertaining. The whole "Those We Do Not Speak Of" thing reminds me of The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, aka Taffy. :)
And by the way, does anyone besides me experience the Muppet Show phenomenon with Shyamalan's last name? I hear it, and I get the "Mahnah-mahnah" song in my head. I'll be like "Shyah-mahlahn . . . doot-doo-de-doo-doo . . . Shyah-mahlahn . . . doot-doo-doo-doo . . ."
Just a little Friday morning silliness. :)
