Life Update
Hello all you out in LJ land, I figured my life has "changed" enough for a brief update.
As most of you know I am engaged to Julie Hurt and we are starting to finalize our wedding date to August 23rd. It's still tentative so don't make any plans until you get the invitation in the mail or from me personally.
I will be graduating (finally) this semester on May 17th. With that in mind I have good news of job. I recently received official confirmation that I received a Electronics Test Technician job at Marlin Technologies in Horicon, WI.
Its a career job in the custom engineering industry. Its exactly the field and position I wanted. Its hourly pay but assuming average work weeks I'd be making $41,600 a year (before taxes). Great benefits and everything included. The only downside is that I have to move away from the city I know and the people I care about. The things we do for jobs...
Well, in any case thats a brief update on my life. I'd be happy to fill anyone in more if they inquire. Otherwise talk to you all at some point in life.
P.S. There is a 99% chance that I'll be having a graduation/going away party before I leave. I'll keep you all posted on that.
