Need to watch High Fidelity again...

I used to love collecting and displaying albums -- the artwork was part of the experience with the music for me. I never really liked CD jewel cases - they seemed too small of a format.

I worked for a music portal startup that licenced MP3s for download, and ripped all of my CDs to MP3 long ago. I've dabbled with music players, but when I started carrying a Blackberry with an SD card, my music habit really took off - first with a 2gb card, then 4, then 8, and now a 16gb iPhone.

I've had a lot of fun organizing my music in iTunes. I've found a program called EvilLyrics that searches for song lyrics on the net and imports them into iTunes. Another program searches Amazon and other sites for album artwork. It's not as cool as having a LP album cover and sleeve with liner notes, but it's nice being able to see the artwork and the lyrics on demand with all my music.
