Robert Harrison built an aerial camera out of a balloon, foam box and duct tape. The results are breathtaking.

Harrison packs a Canon digital camera from eBay and a GPS tracker into a polystyrene box covered in duct tape, and attaches the kit to to a helium balloon. Launched from his back yard, the homemade contraption travels into the Earth’s atmosphere where it takes pictures before the balloon eventually bursts and the camera is parachuted safely back to Earth.
