Last night I finished rewriting and transcribing the third mystery of Król Kases. Therefore, today I edited “Cynical Syndicate”. The next mystery, which was sixth and now the fourth, is twice as long as the one I just fused from three mysteries. I should tackle it next year.
Today I walked to exercise. I was up around 4 AM, so I had six hours’ sleep.
Wed 18 Dec 24 11:48
I took advantage of weather at 14º to hang the outside lights. It took me an hour and a half. There were three broken ones, and more needed adjustment. This is the first year that I have the new covers for the gutters.
Last night I took a course from Woodrium and left it on overnight on my new laptop. I heard eleven lessons while sleeping. The problem was another hour and a half meanwake. Consequently, I arose at 7:20 and missed exercise with a fractured eight hours’ sleep.

My brief visit to Statesman cut short with the threat of rain, then this morning was routine with drying payment. I spent over an hour trying to clean “Assistant Assassin”.
“President Elon Musk wants to end a reconciliation bill, threating a shutdown. Drumpf has abandoned governing as much as Republicans in the House. Musk has no clue about governing.

I have one more day at Zollinger Harned until Christmas. The sales have definitely been down. I just happened to be at the desk at customer service when a customer complained we were out of boxes.
Harry Chapin’s “Cat’s in the Cradle” ousted Carl Douglas’s “Kung Fu Fighting”, Helen Reddy’s “Angie Baby” rose two, the Three Degrees’ “When Will I See You Again” dropped two, and Barry White’s “You’re My First, My Everything” upped two. The lower five are Elton John’s “Lucy in the Sky”, Al Green’s “Sha La La”, Wings’ “Junior’s Farm”, Billy Swan’s “I Can Help”, and BT Express’s “Do It”.

Yesterday we routine, but WWIS decided to play some football discussion for a game that evening. It wasn’t until noon today I found a station that played in for Saturday, 19 December 1981. I had a ration show that weekend, and I took the audience back to that date in 1970, which was the other broadcast on Thursday night. My little tree I bought that Saturday at Arlan’s. I think I have that cassette for the radio show in 1981, although the best one remains a week earlier with a trip to 1967!
I pushed off laundry until today. I will have to decide on a day between Thursday or Sunday. Therefore, I’ll push for Saturday next week and Sundays during the tax season.
It snowed, melted, then froze overnight. I waited until 8 AM after the sun came out. I went to Walmart then to exercise, but I went the wrong lane and ended up at Acme. I’ll get the liquor on Monday,
The card I sent to Joe Tuncavage returned. There was no forwarding address from Wilkes-Barré. I’m thinking of bringing his character back in the mysteries. I spent the day just cleaning up “Deluded Delinquents.”
Sun 22 Dec 24 19:20
I was up early, but my back kept bothering me. I think it’s because I sit in the armchair incorrectly. Therefore, I stayed home except to add to the garbage and to roll out the bins for tomorrow.
I continued the update on the tax laws, to be half done. I’ve moved into reviewing the older published mysteries to clean up. I left some obvious errors in “Skied Skier”, which I also updated. Even the first page of the website needed some serious updating! A half century ago this night, I was listening to the National Lampoon Radio Hour’s Christmas Show.
Mon 23 Dec 24 20:48
I drove today around 8 AM because it was -12º. Then I went to Walmart for shrimp and to the liquor store. I ran the motor long to recharge the batter in this cold.
I finished the long update from Block, only to find a test of 100 questions! I’ll take it tomorrow.
Tue 24 Dec 24 17:47
I was going to gym, but messy weather suggested freezing rain. Then the ice had snow cover it. I went outside afterwards and swept the path of snow. I fixed four of the outside lights. I finally finished that test of one hundred questions at 81%.
Thu 26 Dec 24 14:34
I began organizing the pictures, only to find them as disordered as the cassettes I’ve started to organize. Christmas Eve I visited Poquessing Avenue, and yesterday I was at Statesman and Bensalem boulevard.
Tim wants shoes, and I found eight pairs from sizes 10 to 13. When I tried them on, his feet were much smaller than 13. I guess I’ll try them on or give them away.
This morning, I resumed my walk to the exercise trend. It was -4º with no wind, and warmer weather is coming.
Fri 27 Dec 24 15:30
American Top 40 ran Saturdays of the top 100 of the years 1975 and 1985. The weekend was the bottom 50 of each, and next weekend the top 50 of the same years.
I walked to exercise because tomorrow will be rainy. I could also launder tomorrow. So, I continue to clean up the stories; today I finished “Skied Skier”. Overall, I feel my creativity slowly returns. Certainly the construction of the mystery “Cynical Syndicate” helped step my creativity a step above transcribing. I’m seeking other places where I can describe a scene, and the artintel produces it.
I had an early woke this morning over six hours’ sleep. I was up just after 4 AM. I should get more sleep tonight after the broadcast.
Sat 28 Dec 74 19:25
Predictably, the business fell off after Christmas at Zollinger’s. On Sunday night, the National Lampoon Radio Hour’s Christmas Show announced it was going off the air next week.
Helen Reddy’s “Angie Baby” rose two to oust Harry Chapin’s “Cat’s in the Cradle” down four. Barry White’s “You’re My First, My Everything” two, pushing Carl Douglas’s’ “Ku Fu Fighting” down two. The lower five are Wings’ “Junior’s Farm”, Three Degrees’ “When Will I See You Again”, Neil Sedaka’s “Laughter in the Rain”, Ringo Starr’s “Only You”, and Stevie Wonder’s “Boogie On, Reggae Woman”.
Sat 28 Dec 24 20:42
Instead of forewake and aftwake, I had an early awake. The rain has stayed all day, so I stayed home. I began a course of Woodrium on “People Skills”. Apparently, sleep leaning is so effective. Snark!
Sun 29 Dec 24 19:17
Jimmy Carter passed today at age 100. How ironic that I finished the story that takes place at the end of his presidency. I walked to exercise just after the rain ended this morning. It remained misty all day, so I stayed home otherwise.
I continued the course on “People Skills”, which requires skipping and skimming for comments.
Tue 31 Dec 24 21:51
While I stopped at Walmart yesterday, I walked to Acme today. I spent the morning yesterday to get liquor and a senior pass. The shoes I found too big for Time began losing the shoes. So, I went to Home Depot for contact cement.
I put the outside lights on tonight as 2024 fades away. I would put the year as an improvement solely because of Social Security. Therefore, the constant search for
work took a vacation.Sat 28 Dec 74 19:25
