Late October 2024

Oct 17, 2024 19:12

 Thu 17 Oct 24 15:51

I drove to the gym, then shopped at Walmart. I arose with eight hours’ sleep nearly exactly in my sleeptime. Compassus called about Statesman and their care. It was Lisa Cotignola, and I mentioned voting.

Score had a seminar on artintel, and i used Chat GenPreTrans to give me some ideas on the first story I wrote in the summer of 1977. It took place in 1967, and I’m thinking of using that story in these suggestions on how George met Don.

Finally, I had a Teams meeting to renew my PTIN. I had taken the wrong link to set it upon on the website.

Back in 1967, 57 years ago. Given that today is a full hunters’ moon, I thought it might have been the same. However, the full moon was a day later in 1967.

Fri 18 Oct 24 17:04

I was up at 3 AM, went to the gym at 7 AM, then drove to the dentist for noon. American Top 40 runs Saturdays, 20 October 1973 and 17 October 1987. The former was the Saturday Night Massacre, the latter the revenge on Robert Bork for firing Archibald Cox in the massacre.

PECO was in the neighborhood to clear trees instead of just downing a dead one in Pete’s yard. They even put the three clotheslines back up for the laundry tomorrow. More sky shows in the back.

Sat 19 Oct 24 19:15

In English class, some of my fellow students question how I pronounce the foreign names in the literature. The nun seems to ignore it. I’m starting to dread the typing class as a waste of time. Unfortunately, I cannot change my schedule.

Billy Preston’s “Nothing from Nothing” and Dionne Warwick and the Spinners’ “Then Came You” both rose one, Stevie Wonder’s “You Haven’t Done Nothin” up two, and Olivia Newton-John's “I Honestly Love you” fell three. Carol King’s “Jazzman” jumped ten to fifth. The lower five are Elton John’s “Bitch Is Back”, Blue Swede’s “Never My love”, Bad Company’s “Can’t Get Enough”, Dawn’s “Steppin’ Out”, and the Osmonds’” Love Me for a Reason.”

Sat 19 Oct 24 19:07

The PECO arborists returned, but I still laundered and hanged clothes. They did come later for more trimming in the eastern corner. The area shows more sky and sunshine. When winter comes, the sunshine should be more intense after the trimming plus the fallen branch last summer.

I switched the teshirts with the laundry, and I just finished the shoes upstairs.

Sun 20 Oct 24 17:21

I walked to the gym, then I drove to the barbers. Back home, I colored my hair, then bathed. I still didn’t color it more. Temperatures reached 24º today from 7 º. Drumpf stunted at a McDonald’s in Feasterville to push the unknown fact that McDonald’s has any record of who worked there two score ago.

Mon 21 Oct 24 17:22

The arborists returned, trimming trees along the power lines. They chopped the tree at the southern corner after I had trimmed my side of the tree. They looked over the pine along the northeastern fence, but they just pulled at a few branches.

The World Series starts Friday. I don’t approve of all the playoffs, particularly the wild card setup. The temperatures reached 29º today, so I must leave the storm doors ajar for the heat. I drove to Acme for a few groceries.

Wed 23 Oct 24 19:25

I actually slept during my sleep time. I walked to the gym, but it seems too dark at the start. I stopped at Walmart for some groceries.

Temperatures again became summery at 26º. I went outside to fix the back fence. The bugs weren’t out then.

I am working on combining my experience with mysteries of George Król and Donald Hough. My first taste suggests I should pursue it further. As the first mystery I wrote in 1977 reflects the setting of 1977, I could start with 1967, perhaps a kind of “Young George Król”.

Thu 24 Oct 24 13:52

It’s another walk to the gym, and I nailed some parts of the fence. The mail just cam in, and Pennsylvania won’t pay my Medicare B anymore. So, the extra money on a reassessment of my income. They are punishing my seasonal employment.

Fri 25 Oct 24 20:15

I had a two-hour meanwake, so I arose at 7:15 today. Given I didn’t go to gym, I laundered later in the morning. Like tomorrow, the day starts cold into near room temperature

And sunny. With no insects, I waited for warmer temperatures in the later forenoon.

American Top 40 ran Saturday, 23 October 1976 and 24 October 1981. In the former, I was struggling in false methods of learning. In the latter, i was unknowningly peaked.

Introductory Analysis is very frustrating. I used to have little trouble with math, but now I’ve become mediocre in the subject.

Dionne Warick and the Spinners’ “Then Came You” and Stevie Wonder’s “You Haven’t Done Nothin” rose one each, with Bachman Turner Overdrive’s “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” on their movement with a leap of fourteen. Carole King’s “Jazzman” and Elton John’s “Bitch Is Back” followed with up one each. The lower five are Bad Company’s “Can’t Get Enough”, Dawn’s “Steppin’ Out” Lynryd Skynryd’s “Sweet Home Alabama”, Mac Davis’s “Stop and Smell the Roses”, and the Osmonds’ “Love Me for a Reason”.

Sat 26 Oct 24 17:40

I had a short sleep, which messed up my cycle after 2:30. Therefore, I was napping instead of gym this morning. I just wrote up the ideas I received from Chat Gen Pre Trans. I need some time to work the suggestions out.

Sun 27 Oct 24 14:54

I fell asleep around 10 PM and awoke right before 6 AM, so I’d thought. The clock radio had automatically changed to standard time. I had nine hours’ sleep.

Tue 29 Oct 24 13:12

Yesterday was an excursion to Bluegrass, the optometrist, and a long walk without buying. The advantages included two free meals and a break from the routine.

I had slept nearly eight hours again, but I had less than seven this morning. Still, I saw “Back to the Future” again in full analysis this time.

Drumpf had a rally at Madison Square Garden, worthy of the Nazi rally in 1939. Besides the racism, as very bad joke about Puerto Rico from “Comedian” Tony Hinchcliffe spewed its own garbage.

Both days, I walked to the gym in protest for standard time. Once we’re back to standard, it’ll be 7 AM for the winter.

Wed 30 Oct 24 14:49

I awoke with eight hours’ sleep again within the usual 10-6. I continue going to gym as if it were 6:30 standard. It’s up to the mid-20's in the middle of the week.

In the unavoidable, Branden Dilly doubled down on Tony Hinchcliffe’s racist jokes about Latinos. Then there’re the Yankees, who stopped a straight win of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series, the reversal of 1978.

17:49

There’s big news in politics. Both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Nikki Haley have left Drumpf, the former endorsed Kamala Harris. I’m thinking of the only debate Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan had which flipped the election in 1980.

Thu 31 Oct 24 15:04

I was up at 3:30, so I went to the gym at 7 AM in partial darkness. Nikki Haley didn’t quite get to the endorsement. I drove to Home Depot for cement, and I washed the car early this afternoon. I left the car up near the fence out of the way for Halloween.
