Jun's birthday has passed but my bday post has yet to be done. (I AM THE AWESOME PROCRASTINATOR).
In the meantime I've been browsing through most of the Bday psot of fellow fans, and I find most of them really cute and endearing. This guy is SO WELL LOVED <3 Considering how his Japanese and International fans have been supporting him this year, plus the fact that he got like 3 surprise bday parties from his friends, co-workers, and ofcourse ARASHI-- A VERY HAPPY BDAY indeed to you Jun! <3
. . .
Other than fangirling over Jun (over and over again), I've come across this free music download site called plixid.com and have been downloading these alternative indie bands like crazy~ I've recently been in this music high/drive-- like every time I go home I open my laptop up and simply listen to music. (I know, I should seriously get an ipod or mp3 player-- *prays to God for money* ) I've downloaded I Am Arrows, METRIC, LA ROUX, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, One Night Only, and PETREE. I have yet to listen to PETREE and One Night Only though-- its a risk downloading new bands, but its fun discovering new artists who seem to not care about trends and are unique enough to produce a refreshing sound.
AAAAAND. I've finally got downloaded a good quality copy of Light Me Up by The Pretty Reckless. I know I know, Taylor Momsen looks like a slut and probably will end up wasted and old before she even turns 20-- but the girl SERIOUSLY has got some swagger, dirt, and grit in her. I thought she'll just be this really whiny emo punk or wannabe rockstar kid who doesn't know what she's doing-- BUT THE :ALBUM. THE ALBUM IS LOVE. Its so grungy and acid and reminiscent of some Velvet Underground.
Will have a 3rd listen at the album again later &hearts
