Oh my God, guys, I can't believe I'm just realising this, but my rewatch of The Tao of Rodney made something that must be common knowledge to most of fandom clear to me -- you know Sheppard's whole Ascended women thing (See: Sanctuary, Epiphany)? Rodney is so one of Sheppard's nearly-ascended bimbos! Daniel Jackson better watch out, he's probably freaking catnip.

PS- In other news, if you are feeling smothered by the Valentine's Day coupleyness, I wrote finale fix-it fic starting over (in the same place) which is ensemble gen, but with lots and lots of feel-good hugging and John&Rodney, Rodney&Sam, John&Mitchell friendship, with a side of Team. The Atlanteans seem alien to the SGC.
PPS- Srsly, so much feel-good hugging, it's unnatural. I used to write dark, weird, depressing stories about death and war and emo. What the hell happened?
