Haha thats so awesome! I hear there are a couple of really epic fics out there that deal with that possibility and I am rather tempted to go read them now. :)

btw I really liked your portrayal of Col. Mitchel and Sam in this story. Very fitting. :)

oooh shiny. of course, trust you to write McKay/Sheppard and make it totally yours, with the memory loss and the choices and things like The body remembers, sense-memory, events inscribed into our flesh and blood rather than our intellect. Sort of the same kind of principle as phantom limb syndrome, the body’s memory of a limb overrides the intellectual awareness that it is no longer there..

This, this is so spot on: All the hypothetical scenarios and little clichés that exist on earth to test the bounds and bonds of your friendships and your own soul are-- at some point or another-- edged into reality. It is a very literal place. Sometimes you have to die a couple times for it to really take you seriously.

You know what I love most about this story? That they have to escape and get a ship and it's kind of an adventure, with McKay and Sheppard against the world; something about that it's so utterly right. I don't know it that makes any sense but that's what I feel ( ... )

This was... unsettling. I love your writing, I loved the imagery and the way they fell together again at the end, but something about it just - maybe it was Rodney fucking undergrads at the beginning? *shudders*. It's a Rodney that is all too possible from canon, but that's why I prefer fanon. Cool sci-fi idea, though, which is all too unusual. And I am excited you are writing SGA. Procrastination = omg yay.

Fascinating! And Rodney dating the boys with stupid hair cracked me up. Also enjoyed the SGC dealing with them; they're so used to necessary lunatics, in all their various flavors, but John & Rodney break so many molds.

This was really cool. I can't help but ache a little (or a lot, to be honest) for a John and Rodney whose life on Atlantis ended so badly that they'd chose to forget everything about it, but I'm glad they found each other and Pegasus in the end.
