"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Bangkok, the temperature outside is AS HOT AS ME, and should be about 30 degrees..."

Tatiana and I just looked at each other with eyebrows raised as some passengers laughed at what was overheard over the public address system of the aircraft. Jetstar is just like Cebu Pacific but at least you get to use the Terminal 1 at a more decent time. We arrived at around 2 in the afternoon and checked in immediately at Holiday Inn. A thai-pinoy friend who works there upgraded our room to the top floor with a spectacular view of chaotic Chit Lom.

Everything seems to be walking distance from the hotel. We were just beside Gaysorn (something like Podium) and across is Central World (Glorietta). We decided to have our lunch first at the food court of Central. On the way there, Tatiana couldnt help but notice how he loses my attention often. Don't blame me, blame all those hot looking thais just flashing themselves to me. timing was perfect as Bangkok's end of season sale was still on. But shopping was scheduled on a nother day. So we decided to just walk around and relax a bit. After a while, Tatiana and I parted so that he could get his well deserved massage. I met up with my thai-pinoy friend. Dinner was at Silom, close to DJ Station. Stupid of me to forget my ID so we had to rush back to the hotel to get it. Along the sidewalks of Silom, you could see lots of items being sold. On a Tuesday night, we werent expecting a lot to be at DJ, but the place was packed! Well good for us. Being the fresh meat in town, you couldnt help but get pinched, pulled, groped by all those inside. Funny how these people will approach us with their cheesy pick up lines. Well we ended up dancing with this cute guy who Tatiana suspected to be Malaysian from the way he danced. Guys would try to pull him to their side but somehow he manages to find his way back to our spot. How fun it was to have all those eyes at you as you just enjoy girating to the beat of "One Night Only" and "Umbrella".

The next day was shopping day. Of course, we head to Platinum! Tatiana and I decided to do our shopping separately. After three hours we met up at the food court. Rain was a bit heavy so we decided to just kill time and have merienda instead. But it just rained profusely. So we just braved it and walked back to hotel. Tatiana again had his massage while I went to Chakran. About 5 trains stops away, Chakran is another spa where mostly locals go. The place is nice, a bit relaxing. That night, we found ourselves back at DJ Station. And partied the night away till the wee hours of the morn.

A three-day trip to bangkok is probably just right to do all the stuff you need to do, but I wished i had more time to take a break in between those activities.

Im certain I'll be back on more time before the year ends.
