Alright, let's see how much I can remember...
2003 marked the ending of my sophomore year, and the beginning of my junior.
Near the end of sophomore was when I finally realized that I wanted to pursue theater. I wanted to be a director.
Junior year is where I began to lean more towards acting.
Sophomore year is when I was introduced to the Lord of the Rings movies. And we all know where that ended up. (Yeah, I'm the LOTR geek. And damn proud of it, too.)
I stopped smoking pot.
End of sophomore year, I shaved the sides of my head and sported my bad ass Mohawk! I lived with that thing for almost 3 years!
I made many new friends, developed new crushes (Mikey Vontsolos was definitely one of those, haha.)
I lost friends.
I began to lose my desire for partying.
I remember getting into debates with Samantha Bergau (sp?) about prom in our bio class.
Mr. Carney was crazy, but he was cool. We could leave class pretty much whenever we wanted, we could eat and drink, and thanks to him I can draw out a map of the world and point/write down at least 250 countries.
Mr. Thompson. I hated him so much. All the damned work. Ugh. But now that I look back, I realize that he was one of the best teachers that I ever had. I learned so much from him without even realizing it.
Smoking cigarettes on Dayton!!!!!! What the hell ever happened to that! after school, security would just let us sit right outside the gate, waiting for rides and friends, and get our nicotine fixes! I miss that so much!
Taryn. She was one of my best friends back then. We made plans to go to California.
haha, smoking cigarettes on campus right in front of the auditorium at lunch. We got caught once, and never got in trouble. That lasted all year. We were quite the talented bunch.
Junior year I started hanging out in the drama room at lunch.
I auditioned for the crucible, and almost made it in but I was too shy. H. proceeded to tell me that I did extremely well at auditions, and that he wanted to cast me as Betty, but when it came to the dancing and letting loose, I held back. So that was the end of that.
Started hanging out with Loranger outside of school. Drinking, partying. Going to school the next morning with hangovers.
Over all, I think 2003 was a good year. It was probably the turning point of my life. Well, at least it was full of events that ultimately lead to the turning point.
Yeah. I can't remember much more. If I do, I'll add it.
