PG Fanfic Sandbox - Payphone Time Machine!
If the Machine tried to give you a Number, would you try to help?

(Okay, what’s a sandbox? It’s an open AU, a shared universe: Per Wiki, “A shared universe is a fictional universe to which more than one writer contributes. Works set in a shared universe share characters and other elements …” - so come and write!)
First, please watch this video:

Then, imagine what might happen with this project now that The Machine has a mind of its own. What if Ernie begins to select random callers and assigns them to missions? They wouldn’t necessarily be dangerous missions. They might be fun, or silly, or sweet.
Like, “In the hollow of the oak tree to your left is a diamond ring that was stolen from Miss Genie Bayes on May 15, 1993. She now lives at (some random address). Please retrieve the ring and return it to her.” Would your character look for the ring? Would her/she return it? What would happen when?
And if the missions turn dangerous, Reese and Finch can always step in to help. (Or any other POI character.)
So. Create a character, or use an existing one. Create a mission. Write a story. Post it. Simple, right? Give it a try. (The post is PG, but the stories don’t necessary have to be - just please warn if it’s not.) If you’re interested, please post a comment. Then post your story here or post a link. If there’s enough interest, it can be added to the Summer Activities Masterlist.
