Travelogue: Conway, WA
Not really a travelogue, just a few pics :)
I live not-too-far from Conway, WA where Jim Caviezel said he grew up, and a few weeks ago I needed to be in the vicinity for something. I took the I-5 exit for Conway and snapped a few photos from my car during a 5-minute drive around town. I have no idea what this place looked like 30 to 40-odd years ago but thought JC fans might enjoy seeing the general area where he reportedly spent his younger years. You could probably find many more pics of this area on Google if anyone is really that interested!
The I-5 exit:
Around town: the pub, some houses in town, a farm nearby, and low rolling grassy fields. The "town" part of Conway is tiny (a gas station, a pub, a fire department, and surprisingly some sort of theatre group), and the greater area seems to be a lot of farmland and cute little farm houses.
The next photo is of the Elementary school in town (not sure if JC would have gone there or not), and then a few photos of Mt Vernon high school just up the road where he went for a few years. There was a fun sign right in the faculty parking lot :)
