Tyrant flash fic: Unexpected Move

Note: This flash fiction is inspired by Michecu’s “ The wait is almost over” posting about what fans wish to see in the continuation of KSB. I think I’m not the only one wishing to see an improved Souichi, a strong, proud person, standing tall being gay. It would be a nice change; Souichi reacting true to his personality but as a proud gay man. Yeah! :-)
Unexpected Move
Seating on a bench, Souichi looked up from the book he was reading and saw Morinaga approaching. As he past two guys standing by the walkway, one of them spit a remark, fagot.
Souichi dropped the book and with a fierce look he speeded to the guy and grabbed his shirt. “You, miserable piece of shit! What did you just spit out of your mouth?”
“What’s it to you?” The guy hissed; body tightened ready to fight.
“You deeply hurt my friend’s feelings,” Souichi growled, “and mine, for I am too what you called faggot. Apologize!” He said, and giving weight to his words, Souichi grabbed the guy’s balls with his free hand and squeezed it until he heard a pitched cried out sorry.
“Apology accepted,” said Souichi as he pushed the guy on his way. “Now, go home, you, bullying jerk, ignorant square from the dark ages and learn to accept the present, and while you are at it, do some thinking also if it’s not too torturing for your brain.”
Souichi got remarkably calm as he turned to Morinaga. “Come, my friend,” he said as he put his arms around Morinaga’s shoulder leading the stunned young man to the bench. “Seat with me for a while, love.” Souichi said just loudly enough for the two to hear and gifted Morinaga with a broad smile, then added, “Accepting who you are isn’t enough. Learn to defend yourself, because humanity’s mindset has not yet ripen on the evolutionary tree.”
