seen in angel_derailed's LJ...
These are bands/artists I've seen live. Reply with those you've seen from my list and remove the ones you haven't seen. Replace them with bands you have seen until you get 30.
the only thing that's real are the kids that kid themselves and the demise of the beautiful. what is beautiful? )

I will reserve the last five for my skeletons in my closet (i was a nu-metal kid in high school):
26. Korn
27. Staind
28. Good Charlotte (at warped tour, does it count if you didn't actually watch?)
29. The Donnas (lollapalooza)
30. Blink 182 (x2 GRR WHY THE FUCK DID I DO THAT TO MYSELF, bad religion was at one, so that one doesn't count... but AGAIN?)

many more of course, but these are the first 30 i remembered... i hope to add M83 to this list soon too!

Overlap:
1. Against Me!
2. The Cure
3. Minus the Bear (all 15 minutes of them)
4. The Decemberists
5. Maritime

Grey Area:

6. The Weakerthans
7. Muse
8. Interpol
9. The Tractenburg Family Slideshow Players
10. Andrew Katz

The Rest:

11. Modest Mouse
12. The Anniversary
13. Cursive
14. The Carcinogents
15. Appleseed Cast
16. Avail
17. Propagandhi
18. Tool
19. A Perfect Circle
20. Atom and His Package
21. Smarty Pants
22. Tricky (for about 20 minutes, stupid security)
23. J Church

The Filler: (Opening acts, bands that suck, local acts, crap to get me to 30 because I haven't seen many live shows basically)

24. Tomahawk (though I've luckily blocked most of it out)
25. Meshugah (see above)
26. Tom Petty (First concert, age: 17)
27. Fabulous Disaster
28. High Plains Drifter
29. Alchemy (First local show, age: 15)
30. Snake River Conspiracy (When overweight former strippers are given microphones and metal bands, bad bad things happen)

Haha. I forgot to include the Mars Volta, and I've seen them twice. Perhaps another memory I've blocked

BnL was the first band I ever saw live.

I still regularly wear the shirt I got there because I'm too cool for school.

Hehe, alright then. Sub out good charlotte and replace them with AFI, whom I actually did watch, and cringed, and was very confused as a result. (is it punk? is it goth? why is he so angry? is it because he's so pale?)

I should have included green day and the get up kids in that list for stratification.
