"He said, Let there be light. And there was darkness"

so things have been pretty crazy lately.

pms is wrecking my life. i'm convinced that's what makes me so depressed. i told my mom there was a medication for it. she said don't pump yourself up with hormones before you need it. i said hormones are steroids and i pump myself up with those everytime i go running. she said, your inhaler? i said uh-huh.

i was crazy efficient today, so no one can yell at me for not going to school. i wrote two essays for kurtz. i studied for precalc and did the whole review. i read my whole independent reading book. i wrote out my pamphlet. i did my music experience assignment. i practiced piano. my dog was sick and i had to walk her up and down the road a million times and ended up feeling crappy myself and laying in the grass next to her. i started to paint the sign for the craft fair. i only watched tv for like 1/2 hour.

oh yeah... I GOT THE LEAD IN THE MUSICAL!!!!!!!! I'M FRED!!!!!! I can't believe i freaking beat out EmilyIde!!!! it's a miracle!!! if you weren't supposed to know this, pretend you don't. i think the list was being posted tonight at chamber choir but i'm not sure. now i just have to find time to learn lines...

Katie got mad at me for being late to my lesson. which i have never done before. and succeeded in making me feeling like shit for it. like she always does. whatever i can't wait to go to college and actually ride.

holy shit i was researching this thing for my reading pamphlet today- have you ever heard of the bombing in Dresden, Germany during WWII?? shit. oh man. i almost started crying. The allies rained over 700,000 bombs on this town of 1.2 million people (600,000 of them were refugees escaping from the Soviets). First they created a firestorm, which is when they basically make a tornado out of phosphorus or magnesium bombs and you either get sucked into the fire or you suffocate from the lack of oxygen in the air as it combusts. Then three hours later they launched over 500,000 more bombs. That's a bomb for every two people in the city. They killed the women, the children, the elderly, even all the animals in the zoo. It got to be over 16000 degrees C in the city, so hot that it melted human flesh- it turned orange, then blue, then just melted. it was the worst massacre in history- worse than hiroshima and nagasaki and the london blitz combined. and i have never heard of it because it was the allies that did it. if you ever get a chance, read some accounts. it's insane.

i guess that's my excitement for now. those are pretty much my only excitements.
