well things have been interesting lately
i've been going to captain's practice almost every day and i'm super proud of myself. i know we're not running quite full speed yet but i'm finding i can keep up with the front people when we're running, even if it's erin or lindsey. to think that last summer i couldn't run at all, i'm so damn proud of myself and no one can tell me otherwise. i don't care if all the freshmen beat me or if i never place in the upper half of a race i think i've done pretty well for a girl with asthma, a bad knee, and hip problems who hated running for most of her life. yeah.
i went back to school shopping and in my typical style i bought way too many notebooks. i'll use them eventually. i'm going to skip most of english next year to go to band. damn right. i'm actually starting to get excited that they couldn't fit me in AP. it was going to be the lamest class every anyway (no offense to those who wanted to take it- i for one can't take american history- it kills me). monday i had a mental breakdown about next year, but now i'm sort of hopeful. i'm an upper classmen and goddamnit i am going to push with everything i've got.
my mom's been depressed lately. i think it's genetic. whenever i tell her i think i have depression, she tells me it's hormonal. i think she's in denial.
kirsten (my cousin) and the bloke (i don't even know his real name- just that he's from england) got engaged. i hope they get married in england cuz that means i'll have to go. *evil plotting smile*.
i finally went to the doctor today (yes zak and i didn't even pass out or throw up- proud of me (: ?). apparently i have a lowgrade temp. which means infection. so they gave me some uberclaritin and an antibiotic. i went home and went to the mall and went running even though i felt like crap and sweat everywhere (literally- if you went running tonight you know what i mean. i was dripping. jen, emma, and i took off our shirts and i didn't put mine back on. period. lol). if you were near me though no worries- i probably haven't been contagious for over a week.
now there are just a few more things i need to put on my big girl pants and deal with. then i will be golden.
oh and i'd love them to death if someone'd burn me a paramore CD (:
