To members who are still on LJ - you know who you are
Hey guys, I know that not everyone has gone and died and buried themselves in the facebook swamp, I've seen both lurkers and semi active members of this once great community. Go vote on laagrado's application, I will do so myself in the next few days.
I've rinsed out some lurkers from the community list and wondered how y'all were doing.
Who's still on LJ, why did you stay?
For me, while I'm on facebook (although not very active) and familiar with wordpress and numerous other blog platforms, nothing has yet been better when it comes to community and functionality when it comes to blogging. This is why I stayed, and there are still very active and good communities out there, just not for poetry. Poetryslamming used to, by far, be the best, so what's up with people?
I know fellow moderatorflightviolation is in the middle of a big move to another state, so she might not be around right this moment, but there are still a few other mods and members still on LJ. Give a vote and a shout out!
