is to add a sense of accomplishment at your defeat;
There is only one way at

There is much to be said of the past playing
its cards in our present and relaying
situations but the only changes that can be worthwhile
are not to be gambled at the poker table
There is no bluff when you try to save the future
Taking the world in one palm while the other
Hand is signing that the fist will close on all
That have been ensnared by the open palm, left to crawl
Away from the factors that you thought brought
Everyone together but it was less faithful than loyalty bought.
Just because we're beckoned to come forward
doesn't mean that we have to settle and afford
Ourselves a familiar livelihood in exchange
for taking a group of enemies into our range
It's losing some points; I have to focus better.
