Last night was my first night of class. It could be interesting or it could be awful, it's a catholic theology course exploring justice in the world as filtered by the gospels. Huh? yeah it's cool, I'll be able to explain it better in a month when I've actually read the gospels. Homework this week involves looking up some bible passages on water.Oh yeah, and I look like the local bible beater, reading my textbook book, Jesus Today, on the way to work. It's not that I mind reading religious works, I just dislike reading anything that is so obviously skewed in one direction.
For example, the one I mentioned above starts out chapter 1 by attacking the DaVinci code. Now I HATE Dan Brown, but for different reasons, and I know that a lot of different research backs up claims made in the books. Non-fiction type books like "Holy Blood, Holy Grail". Also my textbook says that the DaVinci Code is postmodern, and I'm quiet sure it's not nearly that intelligent.
Lately music has been bitch, revisited. Think high school, jetta express, pre-pot, and back when we all smoked harder cigarettes. But I'm having trouble finding the right playlist to make everything all right. Bon Jovi just came on my internet radio and I don't even think that can help at this point.
Kitchen color has finally been decided, and the winner is Winter Wheat! We'd like to thank all of those who came out and stared at the samples on my walls and floor. We'd also like to thank the colors that weren't chosen, it was neck 'n neck for most of it.
On a sadder note, please spay and neuter your paint samples, before the breed and create new and different paint samples.
Rereading Good Omens. I'm in the middle of like 4 different books not counting the 6 different books I have to read for classes, and I'm also making an afghan. Yet I feel restless.
I'm going to go, the stacks of paper around my desk are growing exponentially each minute I sit here talking to you.
ciao ciao.
