Five Thousand Years

It's been about that long since I've written here, for which I apologize. Well, at least to those of you who actually care when I write. What's new? Hmm... I have a kitten. Goregeous reddish black color with white under her chin. Nine weeks old, female and quite playful, but aren't all kittens that way? Her name is Ankale (Ahn-kay-lee), compliments of Peter. In case you're wondering, Ankale is Elvish (yes, that would be from Tolkien's books) for "radiant one."
This past Saturday I hung out with two friends from MSA, Rachel and Stephanie. We went to Barnes and Noble, the mall, Target, and Wal-Mart. At Wal-Mart we bought a disposable camera and took random pictures using various props from around the store. Should be quite amusing to see. This past Sunday I went to dinner and a movie with some of my youth group. (Going with my entire youth group would be a bit much considering there are over 200 of us.) We ate at Applebee's and saw "Reign of Fire." It's not nearly as good as they make it look. It's not the worst movie ever, but I don't think I'd suggest going to see it.
I'm way behind on my summer reading for AP Lit, but I'm a procrastinator, so this is not too terribly unusual. However, I have finished "Brave New World," which was quite interesting to be sure.
In any case, that's my life for the time being. Take it or leave it. Much love and all that. And for those of you that I know personally, are you ready for Senior year? Lord knows I am.
