You have yet to live....until a Gay man beats you in Street Fighter.

So, I have determined that it should be National law, that if you are to have a party; you must have a Street Figher machine and a gay man handy. Some how all of my gay friends, make things so much better. It's like all you have to do is add..a little bit of gay and the most reduntant thigns turn all new once more. So Wed night I head out to a party for my Co-workers birthday party; driving a few ways down the street to get there. This is not importnant

When I walk inside at 8:00pm, the house is going crazy. People are already way beyond drunk and I figure that by the time 9 o clock rolls around, there will be no turning back. The tables are covered in glass bottles, Jack Daniels, etc. Half of my co-workers are stumbling around like idiots, most dancing or running outside for unknown reasons. All in all it looks like a fun night.

Again, this is not what is importnant.

Shuffling through the crowd I grab a beer and was about to move to talk to another friend when BAM. My eye snags sight of a vintage Street Figher 2 championship edition arcdade machine. There is a small crowd around it, all of them shouting as two players go at it. I abdandon my friend, taking myself and beer to the machine.

"OH NO YOU DIDN'T!"

I come in time to witness one of the greatest Chun Li fights ever viewed by man. The man playing Chun Li si spitting out drunken taunts as he whoops a slow Zangeif into submission. "WHAT? WHAT NOW BITCH? Boo yah..punk ass..HOMO'S WIN!" The Chun Li player shouts in victory. Snaps of fingers follow, a quick wave of the hand by the Chun Li player sends a sulken Zangief away. I feel suddenly compelled to play. Never had I seen such vigor in Street Fighter. Never had I laughed so much in my life..

So I step up, and the Chun Li player looks over to me. He sizes me up in a quick glance and turns to the screen to watch as I pick Ken. "It's on.." I say as the screen flashes and both of our avatars are getting ready to duke it out.

I'll just fastforard here. I got my ass handed to me(he played with one hand). But it was the greatest Street Fighter game I have ever played. Simply because he was having so much fun with it and the crowd as well. As I walked off the machine and he snapped his fingers at me in a pseudo-african american girl manner, I smiled. The best game of 1995 Street fighter ever.
