It's not been a banner week for my car. I went to Whole Foods to look for gluten-free graham crackers and when I tried to unlock my door, the plastic knob broke off. Last week the glove box fell off, not to mention the incident where I forgot to replace the oil cap and then drove my car around for 48 hours like that. Poor car. It's got something like 288, 000 miles on it. So if I lock my door when I get into my car, then I have to later climb out the passenger side, which isn't very easy when you have a stick and you regularly put the hand break on. I was going to type that I'm not amused. But that's not true. I'm extremely amused. Today was a good day. I got a really cute hair cut that makes me look five years younger. I went to the chiropractor and my back and neck popped the first time the chiropractor tried it. And I found a pair of perfect jeans on sale for only $25.
I've been searching YouTube for old videos of shows that me or my theatre friends have been in. And because of it I've been able to track down several old friends that now have their Equity cards and seem to be doing really well. I've really hated MySpace in the past (the immodest advertisements and the creepy stalker guys), but thanks to them I figured out on Monday night that my friend Geoff is in Kansas City this week performing with "Mamma Mia!" so I'm going to go see him on Saturday afternoon. I can't wait! He was in the cast of one of the shows I stage managed at Lagoon Amusement Park many years ago.
