I can say with confidence that I am in love! My next door neighbors has the cutest dog ever! Black and white english bulldog puppy named Maggie. So cute! Only 4 months old and has the adorable little wrinkled face. I told Shelia, my neighbor, that if she needed someone to walk Maggie for her, to call me ASAP. English bulldog is by far my favorite type of dog. One day I shall have one...already have the name picked out. He shall be called...Atticus. Since my grandmother forbid me to name my first son Atticus, my first dog will be carry the name. I spent most of my day yesterday playing with Maggie. As much as our neighbors are asses, I'll be going over their more often. The love of a dog, what can I say!
Maggie resembles a stuffed animal I used to have. Birthday gift from my godfather when I was 6. I wanted a bulldog and when it came time for my family to get a dog, my brothers wanted something bigger. Enter our mutt of a dog, Champ. I don't know if he was a bigger dog, he certainly wasn't cute. Not in my opinion anyway. But I was out voted. Reason why my godfather gave me Penny. I gave him that name lol. Can't remember why.
Penny was all black with a white face and paws. Damn thing was bigger then me but I carried him EVERYWHERE! Sad how much I abused him. If I remember correctly I had to throw Penny away because dragging him everywhere, he was losing his stuffing...literally. My grandmother tried looking for another stuffed bulldog but for some unknown reason, people think that bulldogs should be pink and green. What's wrong with a black and white stuffed bulldog?! Sorry if that's too normal for you! Ehh guess Penny was one of a kind. He sure felt like it.
God it's been a while since I thought about Penny...and my godfather.
