Stress and whatnot.

I've been undergoing a lot of stress lately. Actually, both Beth and I have been dealing with it together, mostly because of all the changes with moving that have been going on. I think we got the worst part out of the way, meaning that the majority of the moving is complete and the first week of classes are over with. I'll just be glad to be rid of that adjustment period. I'm guessing that will happen after a month into the semester. That's when things usually start to slow down.

Until then, I'm trying to hold onto my sanity by taking it easy whenever I can. So that means, when I'm not working or in class, I'm sleeping or resting with Plum in front of the TV. This summer was so nice because I actually stayed away from watching TV a lot; I was able to focus on other things for relaxation, like being with Shawn and going on Vox. Now that Shawn and I both have busier schedules, I find myself getting bored easily online, so I resort to watching the evening sitcoms.

Beth and I were talking the other day. We both agree that we're kind of stuck when it comes to finding fun things to do. We're both past that stage that involves the need to get out and be with friends whenever we get the chance. That leaves us with staying in most nights and talking with each other while bumming around the apartment. I'd honestly take those nights over the party nights though. I hate the bar and house party atmosphere-- it gets old after a while, not to mention gross.

Anyway, it's Sunday and I'm trying to rest as much as possible. I need to build up my energy for the week.
