Girl, you've gotten lost
Among reality and lies
Being trampled by your fear
Of what is lurking deep inside
Past the point of refuge
Stranded farther than alone
Being devoured by doubt
And terrorfied of that unknown
Foolish one, for chancing trust yet again
Willingly accepting the hand of vulnerability
And ending up utterly broken
Full of weakness and regretful taunting sin
Faith in human goodness
Never fails to be your biggest enemy
And the walls you build against it
are never able to protect you fully
As you fall into fatality
Dropped and left to shatter
Your stabbed by insecurity
Leaving any glimpse of inner strenth brutaly battered
Sitting consumed in painful questioning
Of what you obviously must lack
That always proves you to be second best
Left to stare at continuosly departing backs
