A memory that had almost didn't exist...
Today I received a message from someone I haven't spoken to in a long time. Years. She apologized for the way she acted and for not returning my call when I left her a message on her birthday. I can't say she broke my heart, though she almost did. She was one hug away from my heart when she pushed it away.
The message didn't stir up anything or any feelings, but it did make me smile. It showed that she is growing and changing and realizing some of the things she has done and the people she has pushed away.
Plus it always feels good to hear/read that you're an amazing person and that someone is crazy for not keeping you in their life in one way or another.
I don't think I could be happier with the direction that my life is heading now. :)
There were no spelling errors in this post, and that also makes me happy. :)
