exams are still going on
I feel like the only one who's still doing exams. I have one more tomorrow and then i'll be home. I have grown weary of the city life for the time being. I'm ready for christmas to begin. I've been christmas shopping since thanksgiving, and I've been trying to keep it interesting. I still have a few little things to get that can be done at walmart.
I want to go to the mall and eat taco bell!!!
I wanna see drew and finally give him his x-mas present on time. I want to go bowling like the old days, and eat burger king.
I feel like I kinda want to be a part of one of Katy's get-togethers at her house. They always seem like so much fun. But perhaps I've grown so far away from these friends from high school that I would feel out of place if I showed up.
I feel that soon I will want to start playing gigs back home again. I really want to get a band together. Some kind of pop/rock thing that I can convey my songs through. The people I know here are always so busy to dedicate themselves to something like this. But I want it to be fun as well. Maybe Landis would be interested in kind of fusing the two of our songwriting powers together and find others to join. And then play some shows. That would neat.
Speaking of fun, I really want to learn how to play upright bass. I only know of one place that gives lessons, and they don't have a bass that I can rent out. Maybe I can investigate it more over summer break or something.
