I've been up since 6. I have enough coffee to know that there's so much that I have to do! Today we're going to Damariscotta so Kim can go to his job interview. I'm tagging along because right afterwards we have a meet up with some homeschoolers right afterwards in Waldoboro. We should hopefully be home around dinner time. I have laundry (will probably get done before we leave I think), the kitchen needs to be scrubbed and the living room needs to get straightened up. Cuz we have kids, ya know? Oh, and the dishwasher? Is making our dishes dirtier then when they started. I think I need to clean something out. I swear, the dishwasher is more work than handwashing dishes!!!!!!! I mean, why the fuck am I going to prewash the dish, and then put it in the dishWASHER. *grumble* I also need to finish Finny's birthday presents, buy one for Miss Lily, buy some needed fall clothes for my kidlets....*deep breath* find out what sort of school books I need....I feel like the more I write the more I feel like I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. This weekend we're goign to the Highland Games, then it's the Fairy House Festival in Boothbay Harbor (looking forward to that since it's fairies and I've never been to Boothbay before). After that, we're going to NYC for a few days and then my mom will be here AND school will be starting -_- Honestly? Going back to school with two kids AND starting prek with the oldest? I must be insane! Seriously! Someone take me away, please!
And now back to your normally scheduled morning. That's enough ramblings for the moment.
Yesterday, we did our Rockland errands. We made good timing, had fun AND no melt downs! We bought a big kick croquet set. We've been wanting a croquet set for a while, and figured a giant one was better for hyper 4 y/os.
Also talked to Alessandra yesterday. She answered all of my chicken and goat questions for me! Yea! I'm hoping when my mom come sup we can build a shed and get some animals. I'm thinking 6 chickens will be plenty for us, free range of course. And also thinking of getting 2 pygmies. They're supposed to be small, gentle and make really good milk.
Oh! And I taught Abigail how to sew yesterday! So, she can't sew a straight line, but she really enjoys the act of sewing. She made a bag for her cats yesterday. She's very proud and really hooked on sewing. I told her next time I go to the fabric store, we can pick some out for her.
Abby's awake so that means I don't have top tip toe around as much. Finny will be up shortly. Also needing to leave shortly. I wonder if UMA's book store is open yet?
