My facebook status says it all:
Robin Slawson Hamann is sending out her 7th cover letter/resume in a week! I know the economy is OMG TEH SHIT, and people with out degrees OMG DON'T GET TEH JOBS, but really. A real email/letter/phone call would be nice. "We're sorry. You suck. Good luck!" instead of the uber generic letters that I've been getting. "We've reviewed your application and we feel you do not suit our needs at the current time" Bah. More reasons to focus my energies to being self employed.
