its still dry enough out to kick the leaves while i'm walking, which makes me feel like a little kid. i just love that sound.
my hair is crazy orange and red-pinkish. i'm following my sudden penchant for dresses. I don't understand it but i'm enjoying it. i'm listening to chomsky all the time and thinking of one of their lyrics as a tattoo (quite simply, "this is the good part...") eventually. i'm excited to spend a few days doing nothing except catching up on reading and maybe baking a pie, just because i can.
matt bolenbaugh (woah!) is coming to visit me. i pick him up on friday, which is pure craziness! we haven't really talked for about 5 years now and suddenly, he's going to be here. i'm apprehensive but fascinated at the same time. i'm sort of excited to be around him as a reasonably comfortable, confident person now, rather than a very insecure and emptionally fucked 16 year old girl. i think it will make all the difference in the world.
friday is a my life in black and show that i'm super excited about going to. perhaps i will bake them things again....their shows make me feel giddy. also, i'm taking matt to it.
pretty soon, i will have some recent photos of me to post, which'll be nice.
i really need a computer for the house. who wants to give me a nice computer? huh?
I really want to trade mix cds with someone. i'm getting tired of all my usual bands.
i want to spend a lot of this weekend just hanging out downtown, playing cards at the roxy, drinking chai and getting sushi or burritoes, maybe taking the camera downtown with us, just enjoying my city in a way i don't normally get to because i see it a certain way when i'm working and a completely different way when i'm wandering around with friends.
and today i interviewed for a job. *crosses fingers*
Lastly: Seriously. If you love me and you love music, will you please vote for my friend's band? I know that sort of stuff is annoying but i'll send you mixes or art in the mail or if you're local, i'll make you cookies or brownies or cake or something sugary like that, okay? its important. support small bands!
