I would argue, (of course I would I love to argue) that the idea of walls and bounderies and restrictions being a new thing, a thing of our culture, delveloped over the years, is bullshit. The stupid power trips, nonsensical rules, lies and bounderies, those are that basic animal nature shining through, because what could be more natural then seggragating and isloating oneself and others?
In nature, animals rarely stick together out of anything beyond pure selfish survival instinct.Sometimes its safer in a pack. Beyond some basic maternal feelings, there is rarely any affection exhibited between animals. This makes sense, as caring for those around them instead of dealing with their own needs would get them killed.
'Culture' or whatever it is that humans call our state of being currently still retains a certain amount of that dog eat dog mentality, but with communication, the written word, ect, a lot has been done to unify people into a whole, more caring society. It isn't over yet.
I firmly believe that the world isn't ready for all the rules to be taken away yet. Things would disintergrate into chaos, most people wouldn't know what to do, and would turn on ach other. Thats not to say that it will never be ready, or that rules that are quite clearly total bullshit should be maintained, just that what we need now is not to go BACK to a world without pettyness and stupid rules, because the further you go back the more set in stone the rules are. Instead, I think we need to keep moving forward, because it takes the ultimate in humanity and thought to be able to function freeform.
PS: most of this is simply stating one point of view in order to proke some response from people. I reserve the right to totally contradict myself later on if I feel the need (and if I haven't already).
