I do this for my own personal indulgement anymore.
Growing up has actually started to become pleasant. As my interests and values become more clear to me, the easier I can sleep at night....well, maybe not sleep, but I'll have a much more positive state of mind.
My Elfen Lied dvd boxset came today in the mail. The subtitles on it are real shitty compared to the bootlegged version I downloaded. Kind of upsetting, because it's a wonderful anime. Very pretty too.
Looking at doing a year of film school at the University of Kansas this upcoming fall. My parents are pressing it anyway since it's close to home and it'd only be for my first year. That's cool, I suppose. Was kind of looking to get out of Kansas, but I suppose it isn't that horrible of a deal. I won't let it bug. It's still a change in enviroment.
On another note sorta, I'm currently going crazy creativity-wise. So many ideas that need a lot of work, so many possible mediums. I've got a couple different screenplays going. Also, I'm working with some friends on developing a series of comedic shorts based on our everyday lives. Then, I've recently started on a comic that I'm getting pretty excited about. There's a few book adaptions I wouldn't mind doing for a movie. I'm thinking about that as well. So yeah, I'm still trying to decide what I want to focus on the most. In the end, Ill choose whatever I feel most passionate about.
