WHY must my mom act so hateful toward me all the time!? I'm going to start referring to her as "The Menopause Mama". Right, Jess? ;o) But seriously, every SINGLE thing I do, she just has to scold me for it! I went up to her just a few minutes ago, complaining about how my cell phone isn't receiving service in a completely CALM tone of voice. And she goes, "Amy, stop yelling at me.. blah blah blah..." YELL!? I did NOT yell! Of course, right after she said that I DID yell. But still! I was NOT yelling at her before that! And she's ALWAYS complaining about the things I do and ALWAYS saying how I need to "adjust my attitude" when SHE'S the one who starts an attitude with me first! I swear! I mean, sometimes I admit that I exaggerate things when I'm upset.. but I seriously swear that I'm not lying or exaggerating about this one. She's ALWAYS being a miscreant to me! And she's such a bigot! GOD! And when we start arguing, of COURSE my dad has to take her side because he's her freaking puppet! Here's proof from earlier today:
Mom: Jesus H. Christ, Amy...
Me: Okay, let's just all start saying Jesus' name in vain from now on since that's all you say now-a-days, MOM!!
That's her favorite phrase with me these days, I swear. ::takes a deep breath:: Okay...
On a lighter note, I went out with Brittany, Lace, Mark, and Eric last night. We went to this local place called Celebration Station. It has these go-karts and arcade games and miniature golf there. Brittany, Lace, and I just basically sat around watching the guys do stuff. But it was still fun. I was happy when Brittany invited me to go with them. Mark and I got to know each other a little better. Next weekend, we're all planning on getting together with each other again. It shall be fun.
Just a few minutes ago, Brittany and Lace were talking to me through IM and they said that Mark tried to call me today but my voicemail picked up. He wanted me to pick Brittany and Lace up and go to his house for this barbeque thing. I was SO upset when I found out that I didn't receive the call. See what I'm talking about how bad my service is!
Gosh. I WISH SOMEBODY WOULD JUST BELIEVE ME!!
