Lost
By: Adam M. Snow

I am lost; I lost who I am;
I am roaming through the dark to find myself again.
The sky is blue yet it's dark upon my soul;
I'm looking for a clue so that I may be whole.

I've lost my path, now I've been damned;
I've suffered through this wrath and shammed.
For you are my map within this Earth;
though I am stuck with mishap of dreary birth.

I am lost yet I can't remember;
for my soul's like frost upon dreary wonder.
I've tried, tried yet again;
it feels like I've died times ten.

I'm wandering here hoping to be free;
for my fear is all as it can be.
All I am, I am but a lonely drifter;
wishing not to be damn soon after.

I've reached the end, the end of the road;
there's no need to fend though I've repaid what I've owed.
My very own life was the cost;
now my only strife is that I am forever lost.
