WOW. I just finished watching "Angels in America", the HBO special that I've been hearing of forever and it was amazing. It follows the lives of a bunch of people in the 80s when AIDS first broke out. Lotsa big names too. Emma Thompson plays a dykie nurse with a brooklyn accent, and an angel that has immaculate sex with people, including a mormon mother. Meryl Streep plays a mormon mother as well as a jewish rabbi and, well, I won't tell you everything.
THE VERY BESTEST THOUGH was an actor by the name of Jeffrey Wright. He played the most beautiful, compassionate portrayal of a gay man to date. I love him. Go watch it.
