Damn, do I look good in a fedorah, if I do say so myself. Happy Birthday Pauline! Hope you make the best of it.
I keep wanting to write in here, but my life is pretty boring. I took my final exam for my peer support training today and came home and slept. oh, then I made waffles.
I did apply for a summer program in Toronto though. Its for youth who have social projects they want to develop. They put you up with room and board out there for a month, with other youth from all over the world. Then they give you training in how to work with non-profit organizations.
For me, the project I submitted is Moving Beyond, the drop-in I co-facilitate for youth with mental health issues. Our funding is running out, but we're going to do everything we can to keep it going. My dream would be for it to evolve into something like GAB, complete with workshops in schools and everything. I've got a good feeling about it. Toronto here I come! Anyone want my apartment for a month? Penthouse suite...the only catch is you'll have to share it with my rats.
