I applied for Brown University early decision. I got deferred. So basically I get put back in the pool and get to agonize over it all again until April.
Yesterday afternoon after finals I took a walk in the woods South of Barton Creek with some friends. They showed me this place in the back with a tree that if you climb in you can see over the river and we walked around and discovered the old girl scout camp I used to go to and a bunch of rocky ravines etc. We sat down during this one part when it started raining and we saw this armadillo doing something I didn't know animals did. It wanted this stick, so it did this thing where it put the stick right up behind its front legs and used its hind legs to scoot backwards for like 20 dang feet down this hill and then disappeared. We resisted running after it screaming "WE HAVE SOME OPPOSABLE THUMBS TO GIVE YOU", and helping it out.
