Why I am Here

I have a blog elsewhere, but I wanted to find something approximating a community of people with experiences similar to mine. I have no idea what I will find here or how it will help. I realize that what I write online is forever, so I have some concerns with writing too much. Still, I have a compulsion to write and chat -- to express myself. Online seems much better than standing on a street corner or sitting in a coffee shop watching people.

The communities I join probably reveal enough about me to make some assumptions possible...
