The book of lights, is basically what LOOKS like a book but pops open to reveal an LED pop-up lamp. Powered by batteries (because a pop-up book would look extra stupid with a plug and cord hanging out of it), the book of lights is said to be aesthetically pleasing and not much else. While I DO admit that naming it the "book of lights" is a really cool idea (similar in the mould of naming a book "The book of shadows" or "The book of the dead"), the fact that it's nothing more than a pop-up book with a fancy LED lightweight paper structure masquerading as a lamp shade severely disinterests me. And at USD $95 it makes more sense to just set a book on fire and watch it light up.
