*sits curled up on her bed, reading Les Miserables. Her only thought outside of the book was how annoying it would be if some one were to interupt her at this point*
*snarling softly, her once loosely-clenched fists were now tight, fingernails digging into her palms gradually* Look, I know I made a mistake, okay? I know that I was wrong! At the time, help controlling my powers just sounded nice! I was tired of running from you guys! Why don't you understand?!
*with the last sentence, her eyes gleamed into a golden aura, and a soft quake rumbled underneath their feet*
Tired of running from us? *her eyes begin to glow darkly* If you were so tired, then why did you run again, and go to Slade? We would have helped you, if you had given us a chance. But you didn't.
I have to spend most of my time mediatating! I'm afraid to have friends at all, because of my powers. I do understand, but the difference between us is that I faced my problems!
I was scared of what you'd think! I didn't think you'd let me stay on the team if you found out! *shoulders square slightly*
You know, I don't think you do understand, Raven! *the ground beneath them was now rattling so hard that things were shaking off shelves, and a slight gust swam around Terra from the power that was radiating from her, making her hair slightly flutter* You just don't want to admit you're wrong! That I'm a new person! That I didn't mean to do those things!
If you really thought of us like that, then you didn't belong here in the first place! *things start to glow black*
*her hair and cloak flutter as the two powers meet and clash, and her eyes are now glowing brightly* What does you being new have to do with anything? You were accepted! You were one of us!
If you didn't mean to do it then why did you go to him? *snarls*
*With very little warning, a large rock crashed in through the window, glass shattering through the air, hurtling straight for Raven, only to be emphasized by Terra's angry cry*
*leaning in slightly, her eyes narrow more* You're not acting any better.
*the words came out as a snarl between her teeth, focused almost entirely upon the rock, forcing more power into the rock to try to get her control back over the object*
RRAGH! *The cry had torn from her as a result of the comment from Raven that hit her in all the wrong spots, and now not only was she trying to push more power into the rock, she had the presence of mind to summon several smaller-sized rocks which spiraled up towards the window and shot towards the dark teen in a volley*
*with one hand still trying to fight off the rocks, her other drew back, began to glow, and she then threw her hand forward, sending small beams of aura straight towards the elemental girl's face* Ergh... *hisses, trying to ignore the way she was slowly being pushed backwards*
Unfortunately, with the way her feet seemed to be glued to the floor, she was in no position to move, and recieved a burst of energy right in her face, knocking her to the floor briefly within a skid, letting out a grunt as she hit. Golden locks befell over her face for a moment before a scowl clearly taking over her expression, and with a burst of her own energy, a golden-yellow aura burned around her. Her hair fluttered around her face as her hands shot out, equally adorned in the glow, a burst of power engulfing the rocks; the clash of the two teens powers so much that even the rocks were beginning to shed dust flecks...
Screams as her power gets loose; she had used far too much, and was quickly loosing control. Whole body now glowing an eerie black, and eyes quickly taking on a reddish tinge, she knew it was best to end the fight as soon as possible. She snarled and leaned forward, knowing she had no chance to take control of the rocks and now simply hoping to crush them before anything else could be destroyed. Her hair flew around her face as she struggled with the fight between their powers.
Even as she pushed into the rocks with strength she was now pulling more from within, Terra managed to slowly but surely climb back onto her feet. "Just. Go. Down," she seethed, but barely loud enough for even herself to hear.
She leaned forth a little more, her teeth now visibly gritted and her eyes a-flare like they were miniature suns themselves. Raven may have been holding up well against her, but if she had anything to say about it, she was just about to show her dark 'teammate' otherwise.
"Never." Hisses in return, having caught the words on the wind that was flaring around them. She forced one foot forward and pushed both arms forward, not noticing as she pulled a muscle in her right arm. Suddenly the rock exploded, sending them both flying out another window, covered in dust and hit by shards of rock. They landed in the ocean, and the water shocked Raven back into control. She took a breath then looked up at her room and scowled; the whole far wall was missing.
The geomancer hadn't quite known what had hit her when it had; suddenly she lost all feeling of power from the rocks she had grasp over. All she was completely aware of was that none of her body was even touching the ground... the shock of cold water slapping against her back made her gasp, and before she knew it she was sinking into the ocean. Panic flooded over her immediately, unsure of which way was up or which way was down... all she knew was she had to get out before she suffocated.
Willing a chunk from the bay's floor to rise up underneath her, she shot from the water that had been swallowing her whole and gasped in air, sopping wet and aching. Pulling herself up onto her hands and knees on her little rock that suspended in mid-air, she spat out a stream of water and immediately began scanning the waves for Raven, but not without pushing the soaked strands of hair away from her face to allow her to do so.
She floated about a hundred yards from shore, attempting to swim with a hurt arm and muttering under her breath. She would have teleported, but by this point she was too tired and had too little focus to try. The sorceress paused to push dark hair from her face, and then returned to the task at hand; surviving the swim.
She hesitated for a second, unable to completely ignore her thoughts of Terra. She was worried, as much as she didn't want to admit it. She had a few nasty cuts from the rock shards, and knew the geomancer probably did too.
