Do you understand my excitment at seeing new chapter up?

I'm really enjoying the different stories you have playing out here: Mohinder/Sylar, Mohinder/Elle, Elle/Claire, Claire/Sylar, etc...They interwine really well and compliment each other in making the overall story all richer with depth of detail in characterizations. I also like how each pairing on its own has a story to tell (such as Mohinder and Sylar...and I like how your creating something for Elle and Claire).

I think you nailed the description of Elle as someone who wears her emotions and feelings quite freely -- and how intriguing that would be for someone like Claire who has made certain decisions to get herself where she is. There is a certain rush that comes out of making someone else squirm. And yet I admire that Claire seems to also have an intelligent and thoughtful grasp of the circumstances at hand -- not only for what she's trying to do as head of The Company but being aware of Elle's background and how easily her own childhood could have been the same.

Elle's friendship with Mohinder is wonderful here. You have these wonderfully subtle reminders of them being in tune -- when she sits down next to him after interrupting Sylar's attack and doesn't know what to do but put her hand on his shoulder.

I always love trips in Mohinder's mind, especially when he's trying to make sense of Sylar and him. You have Mohinder close to this brink of going over the edge but he's also a fighter, a survivalist who will give it his all to keep his head above water...something Sylar admires (and I imagine finds a huge turn on) but is also frustrated by (being thwarted by what he wants most stokes his passion to keep going but it can also make him more dangerous in how far he's willing to go to get it).

I love how Mohinder tries in his own way to fight back and apparently does a good job of it until he's forced to work alone with Sylar (and I'm very interested in Claire's own awareness of Sylar and Mohinder's history/odd relationship and how that plays out in her decisions). I can't wait to see how this work roadtrip turns out...and what the ramifications will be!

Hmm, I don't know if I dc. Do you understand my excitement at seeing your comment? XD ^_^ You always leave such great comments! They make me blush so hard...

I try to make it clear that each 'pairing' sort of has a story of their own, but they do interweave, and I'm glad that's coming off so well!

I'm definitely doing a bit of a 'change' in this fic, where Elle is the child and Claire is the adult instead of, perhaps, the two being on the same level or vice versa. I haven't seen it done too many times, so I thought I'd make an attempt. I'm happy it's so enjoyable!

I really wanted to show their friendship, but do it in a way that was purely platonic, because that is how I see them. I was disappointed that they didn't do much with Mohinder and Elle's relationship in the first two episodes, but they did have a lot to shove in two hours. Even so, I'm hoping they might be able to show it before she leaves, but I'm doubting I'll ever see it, so my description of them in my fic has become even more important for me. Because I absolutely love their friendship. They'd be flirty, almost juvenile, but serious and supporting at the same time and I'm so happy to be given the chance to explore it.

Mohinder is definitely a fighter! I'm guilty of making him too weak in many of my fics and I'm trying to change that in this one. He's someone who is persuaded by cold, hard fact and logic, and if Sylar wants him, he'll have to play it his way, ^_^

Claire, she's being pretty selfish, actually. She wants the Company to flow well, to be under her control. In order for that to happen, Sylar must remain a happy boy, and if Mohinder is what'll secure his happiness, then so be it. ^_^

*squishes you in pure love for being so awesome*
