You post a topic, list, category, whatever, in my comments section. (examples: "Top 5 things you shouldn't say even when you're really drunk" or "Top 5 ways to be KEEPIN IT REAL" or "Top 5 boys who wear glasses"). Then, in a separate post, I'll post the answers to all your Top 5 ideas, according to me. Then you post this offer in your own journal.
Geeze, I've been so, "I wanna sit at home and study" all week. What's gotten into me? At least I'm going out tonight...
Okay, I will attempt (attempt!) to cover the big important things that have been happening in my life in a brief space of time. These things shall be as follows:
- Went to see my parents for Christmas, and then I went up to Canada to see my girlie!
- I have a pretty nice GPA after the "shocker" semester.
- Classes right now are cool.
- EJ versus Planet Earth: EJ 10000000000, Earth -25
On to the first item!
Okay, before Christmas I went back "home". Spent a day hanging out with CBV and Southern Belle. (Using fake names to protect the innocent from the "dust cloud of drama" surrounding the situation. And to make things more interesting/pretend to be Zoe Trope. I = POSUER!) SB and I shopped for an item of great importance (ie gift for the girliepants) and later we got together by ourselves to make presents for our girls. I almost wish that a certain somebody could have seen the effort she put into hers and the zest and zeal with which she tackled the project, but I don't suppose any good would come of it. Also, I had a really nice visit with my parents, which was excellent.
Then I left for Alberta on the 27th... wow, I think I should devote an entire post another time to just how excellent this was, meeting her friends and sitting on the couches at her tea shop and standing teeth-chattering on her balcony and passing hours playing video games and watching fireworks and eating the best/only tofu sandwich I've ever had and waking as she lept on to me and kissed my sleepy lips...
Nnnnnn. It's almost too much.
My grades were sort of a scale this semester: B, B+, A-, A. That's a 3.5, which is not bad, not bad at all for the first semester. The workload stuff is always a big shock coming into schools like these. I mean, this is the Ivy League, we were all straight A students in high school and we can't all have straight As now, and that's hard to deal with. But, nonetheless, I'm pretty happy with things right now.
Currently, I am taking...
Microeconomics
Cognitive development
Japanese II
A poetry class (has to do with journalism)
History of American Education
If I keep on top of things, my grades will be stellar.
