So, I told myself that when I got around to it, sometime soon, I'd go back and read my friends page archives and be caught up on everybody's lives... since, I don't know, the beginning of the semester.
But given the amount of entries you guys post every freakin' day? Not gonna happen.
Through my first semester of college, I never felt guilty about neglecting my friends page duties. I was busy, I was having extreme highs and lows, and I knew that if somebody really wanted me to know something, they wouldn't just expect that I'd read it, they'd give me a phone call and explain the whole situation personally.
...That's not universally true, is it?
I'm not going to read back-entries in my friends page. I'm not. I don't have the time. My winter break is suppose to be relaxing and I don't think that any of you will be too choked up if I miss a few months of your journals (I'll be keeping up with them all in the new year as one of my Resolutions). HOWEVER, if there is anything you want me to know, anything at all, even if you think it's stupid and insignificant, please share. If you don't care, fine. But if October was the month your pet died or you got your first C or you moved into a new apartment or you had your first kiss or whatever, and you consider me enough of a friend to let me in on this stuff, then please, send an email--or just leave a comment right here. I'm autoscreening for your benefit.
College kids: you're probably all done with finals by now (I'm not). Regardless, good luck in the future and I hope the ones you have already taken went well.
