it's been 40 weeks
since I last updated my damn journal, because I just got bored of it. That was because I was in high school and all I wrote about was the same damn shit everyday because that's what high school was. THE SAME CRAP. Anyway, to update you on those weeks where I didn't update...
Basically, I continued with high school, ended up skipping class a lot senior year, played a concerto with Gabby, barely graduated, skipped graduation (but went to grad nite with everyone), and then decided to attend Roosevelt University in Chicago, rather than Cal State Long Beach. Well, I love Chicago, and if I would have stayed home, I would have had to abide by mother's bizarre rules. I also got in contact with my birth mother, Tori, and my brother Zachary. It's kind of weird knowing I have some full, biological brother out there that I've never met in person, but I don't feel 'betrayed' because my mother gave me up and kept him. Heck, I don't even like the term gave me up. It's totally not what she did. It wasn't like she didn't want me.
Anyway, Roosevelt is an awesome school and I'm meeting tons of awesome people, like Jeanette, Bianca, Megan, Lisa, and then Dustin and his friends. I don't really talk to Dustin and them because they live in the UC and I live in the HCC and the UC is like the college dorm mecca, so no one ever comes over here. I'd go over there more often if it wasn't such a pain to sign in.
My audition went okay today, I played the wrong excerpt, but I don't care. I didn't completely bomb. Now I have nothing really to do because most of my friends have gone home for the weekend. It's actually quite depressing, but that's the way life is... or something...
