So, I thought I'd throw an update out there since I haven't in a while.

K bye.

...

KIDDING! Did you really think it was going to be THAT easy?! As my hero, Meatwad, says: "Nuh-uh, I got a lot to say!" *grin*

So let's see.. I can't even do this in any sort of order, so I'm just basically going to go with whatever pops into my head first.

Bush. Bush Bush Bush. And not even the fun, recreational kind. Did anyone (other than Kate) catch the President's speech last night? First, I must admit that I appreciate him admitting that maybe he possibly could have thought about considering handling the situation slightly differently. Heh heh heh! <-- That's my Bush laugh.. For those of you that haven't heard me do it in real life, I feel sorry for you. I'm frickin' hilarious! What I DIDN'T appreciate is how he started bandying around the WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction, dur) stuff. How DARE he mention something so.. petty, so fake, so FABRICATED by himself and his father in an effort to stunt Saddam because Saddam bitch-slapped the senior Bush? These people lost their homes.. Their possessions.. Their LIVES.. And here he goes, DARING to stand in front of the nation and compare this ACTUAL tragedy to the one he created in Iraq.

Fuckin' wanker. That's all I can say. Have you guys been seeing the stuff his mother, Barbara, has been throwing out there? Maybe she's going senile or something.. I can't figure out why else she'd say stuff like this (outside the privacy of the Bush compound, that is). I know I have the link to one of them, but I gotta find the link to the first one I heard about.

Got it.

The one from the war in Iraq is a little older, but the hurricane one, obviously, is new.

God, I love snopes.com.

So today, hopefully, is going to be one of those really easy days. Bryan won't be here this morning, so I'm letting some of my work stack up so that I have something to do when he gets here. Man I wish I had nail clippers.. it hurts my fingers to type so quickly because my nails click on the keyboard. Is that weird?.. I don't care.

My fingernails ARE really long though.. I still can't decide whether I want to go get fake nails or not. It seems like a really unnecessary expense when there are more important things to spend money on. But they sure as hell are pretty. AND I could get the kind with glitter tips! .. But then it would mess my nails up and make them all weak and bend-ie again. .. But then I could just keep getting nails and it wouldn't matter.. I.. JUST.. DON'T.. KNOW! GAH my indecisiveness is KILLING me!

Speaking of indecisive.. I can't pick a tattoo either. We're supposed to go get one for my birthday

WHICH IS IN ONE MONTH, ON OCTOBER 16th!

So let's see..

Went to "The Store" yesterday. We're referring to it as such because there's no name yet, so.. "The Store." It's AWESOME inside! We went over there and tried the door.. Thank GOD it worked cuz I was dying from curiousity! So, it's really nice from the outside.. Needs a little cleaning up and some TLC but it's pretty dang cool otherwise.. I LOVE the wrought-iron thingies under the windows.

So, the plan is that pretty much all the walls are going to get knocked down to make one big open room. Then, we're going to use the back end of the building for storage and build my office back there. I'm assuming so I can have ..privacy? Something. And apparently I can paint my office however I want and stuff. I'm trying really hard not to go all crazy on Kate and be like, "First I'm gonna do THIS and then I'm gonna do THIS and then I'm.." because it's her store and I would be pissed if someone else came in and was doing that. But I do have some ideas and it's not like I matter whether I tell Kate or not.. she knows me so well (GET OUT OF MY HEAD!) that nine times out of ten, I don't have to tell her anything. She knows.

Any suggestions for a name for the store? A music/coffee shop with live concerts on the weekends..

PS - We share a building with the Republican Party Headquarters of Conroe. *laugh*

So, I walked away from this this morning and I'm now able to sit back down and finish it (I hope I hope).

Today has been very productive. Did I mention how cute I am today? I bought a really cute new shirt from Target yesterday and I wore it today, along with my hair looking cute. I've just been in a Woohoo! mood all day. I did a little dance coming down the hall.. You know, a little soft shoe. Didn't know people were watching me. *blush* But they applauded, so..

Tasha being here was awesome. I have more to update on, but unfortunately, my time has run short and I must end it for now. It being this entry.

I should do more tomorrow, unless I decide to go to the mall with my sister. That is probably not a very good idea- If she spends money, I KNOW I'm going to want to spend money. *sigh*

Later much!

- Amy
