*Hack* *cough* *wheeze* *flump*
Well, that was unpleasant. Got some good news/bad news of a sort, today. I;d been feeling really run down lately and I'm guessing at least some of you know how my antihistamines just weren't working right anymore? I think we found out why.
I am very, very allergic to mould. Our Futon Mattress had been growing mould on the inside of it. Maybe since we moved, maybe from before, but in any case, when we went to do the monthly flipping, we saw lots of the fun stuff on the bottom, growing outward. Which explains why the antihistamines weren't working (they don't handle mould), why I'm so wiped, why my lungs always hurt, why I've been feeling like I had a cold, why beth also felt off and so on. So the good news is we most likely have removed the primary cause from our lives.
The bad news is we have no bed or even a mattress. >_< I think we'll definitely go for a bed that is above the floor this time...when we can afford one. Right now, the cheapest slat bed+foam mattress we can find is about $300 and we don't have that money, since we spent it on other stuff as we didn't know about the mattress... And also, given how allergies work and our last used furniture purchase led to bedbugs way back, we want new.
